The most awaited smartphone of 2017, OnePlus 5 has been officially launched today at an event in Mumbai. As expected, OnePlus 5 is priced Rs. 32,999 for 6GB +64GB variant in Slate Grey color and Rs. 37,999 for 8GB+128GB version in Midnight Black color.This will be available exclusively on Amazon.in from today onwards. The first Sale will opens at 4:30 pm for those users who have registered for notification. Subsequently, it will be available for all from Amazon India, OnePlus Store, and OnePlus Experience Stores in Delhi and Bengaluru from 27th June.
All OnePlus 5 users will be eligible for a complimentary 12-month Accidental Damage Insurance by Servify on downloading the Kotak 811 savings account and activating it with an initial deposit of Rs 1,000 There are several other exciting partner offers including Amazon Prime, Kindle and Vodafone. This phone has minimalist Anodized Aluminum unibody metal design. It is 7.25mm slim device and comes with horizon line to give an elegant look.
On the specifications front, OnePlus 5 sports a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5 display with color temperature control. This phone is powered by the latest 2.45GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 64-bit 10nm processor with Adreno 540 GPU. It comes with options of 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB storage (UFS 2.1) and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) of internal storage. Their is no microSD card support.
This phone is mounted with Dual Rear cameras – 16 MP main camera with Sony IMX 398 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, EIS, dual LED flash and secondary Telephoto camera of 20 MP with Sony IMX 350 sensor, and f/2.6 aperture, Bokeh effect feature and 2x zoom capabilities. For selfies, this phone is equipped with 16MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX371 sensor and f/2.0 aperture.
This phone gets its juice from 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge which can fill the full battery from zero in just 30 minutes. This phone has very fast fingerprint sensor on the home button.
