OPPO has launched today OPPO A16 smartphone in India. The OPPO A16 is priced at INR 13,990 and will go on sale on Amazon and mainline retail outlets from 20th September. It will be available in Crystal Black and Pearl Blue colors.
The Oppo A16 sports a 6.52 inch (1600 × 720 pixels) HD+ display with Waterdrop Notch and 88.7% screen-to-body ratio. This phone is powered by 2.3GHz Octa Core MediaTek Helio G35 12nm processor. It comes with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB storage which can be extended up to 256GB with microSD card. This phone is packed with 5000mAh battery.
The A16 is equipped with 13MP main camera with 2MP Depth (Bokeh) and a 2MP Macro snapper. For selfies, it has 8MP front camera with AI Beautification on both—front and rear—cameras. This phone runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1. It has side-mounted fingerprint sensor. This phone offers connectivity options of
4G VoLTE, 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio. Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth, GPS and GLONASS and USB Type-C Port.
The OPPO A16 has a compact build—163.80mm long, 75.60mm wide, 8.40mm thin—and weighs 190g. The handset carries an IPX4 splash-proof rating.
