OPPO has launched today OPPO A55 smartphone in India with highlights of 50MP AI Triple Camera and 3D curved design. This phone comes with 6.51 inch (1600 ×720 pixels) HD+ display with 89.2% Screen to Body Ratio. This phone is powereed by 2.3GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P35 Processor and is paired with
4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB storage / 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB storage which is extendable. This phone is packed with 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
For photography, this phone is equipped with 50MP AI primary camera, 2MP bokeh shooter and a 2MP macro snapper. Its main AI camera comes with pixel-binning technology that captures brighter pictures in extreme low-light conditions as claimed by OPPO. For selfies, it has 16MP front-facing camera.
This phone runs on ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 and has Side-mounted fingerprint sensor. This phone has connectivity options of USB Type-C, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4+5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS + GLONASS.
The OPPO A55 comes in Rainbow Blue & Starry Black colors and sports a 3D curved design with slim body that measures 8.40mm and weighs 193g. While the Rainbow Blue variant shines in a dazzling kaleidoscope of rainbow colors, the Starry Black features the OPPO Glow Design. The smartphone also carries an IPX4 rating for splash-resistance and sports a battery cover that has a faux metal texture.
The OPPO A55 4+64GB variant will be available from 3rd October for INR 15,490, while the 6+128 model will be available from 11th October onwards for INR 17,490 on Amazon and across mainline retail outlets.
