Panasonic has expanded its portfolio of Eluga range of smartphones and launched today Eluga Note. This phone has textured back and will be available in champagne gold color at Rs. 13,290.
The Panasonic Eluga Note sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels, 403ppi) with bright and low power consuming LTPS (Low Temperature Polycrystalline Silicon) display. This phone is powered by MediaTek 1.3GHz Octa Core processor combined with 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further extendable to 32GB via microSD card.
This phone is equipped with a 16MP rear-camera with triple-LED flash, 6P lens and f1.9 aperture. It also houses a 5 MP front-facing camera. This phone gets its juice from a 3000mAh battery.
This phone runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) os with the Panasonic FitHome user interface, which provides single thumb-flick access to applications on the home screen. This is Dual SIM supporting phone.
This phone supports 4G VoLTE for faster data access and good voice quality. The other prominent feature of this phone is that it has an inbuilt IR sensor which allows IR based controls of smart home appliances such as TVs, DVD players and ACs.
Besides 4G VoLTE support, this phone also offers other standard connectivity options of Wi-FI 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Global Positioning System (A-GPS), FM with RDS etc. This phone also incorporates Ambient Light sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity sensor.
This phone does not have fingerprint sensor which has become a standard feature nowadays.

This phone will find stiff competition from LeEco Le 2, which is priced Rs. 11,999 and comes with little bit better specifications.
