Panasonic has expanded its portfolio of P series of smartphones and launched today P81 smartphone. Panasonic P81 was being teased for sometimes and its features are on expected lines. The P81 comes only in black color and shall be available in India from the third week of May, 2014, at the best price of Rs.18, 990.
Panasonic P81 supports Dual-SIM and sports a 5.5 inches IPS HD display with 720×1280 pixels resolution. This smartphone is powered by a 1.7GHz true octa-core processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be expanded upto 32GB via microSD card.
The P81runs on AndroidTM 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS witH a layer of Panasonic’s Play Life UI. Panasonic has upgraded the “Play Life” UI features and has added a few more innovative Multi Play features like Dual window operations named “ Dual Play” & screen design functionality named “Play More” to the P81. This smartphone also incorporates Panasonic’s signature feature, the “Gesture Play”.
The Panasonic P81 is equipped with 13MP Full HD capable Autofocus rear camera & 2MP front camera. The P81 is powered by a 2500 mAh battery. The P81 has Leatherette back cover for a better grip & style and comes with a “Device Cleaner” feature for clearing the unwanted memory packets from the device’s RAM. This phone has thickness of 7.9 mm and for connectivity, it supports 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 A2DP, Micro-USB 2.0, and FM radio with RDS.
