POCO has introduced new addition to its M series – the POCO M6 5G. This phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, which operates at a clock speed of 2.2GHz and 2.0GHz, using a blend of 2X Arm Cortex-A76 and 6X Arm Cortex-A55 cores respectively. It comes with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM AND and up to 256GB of storage. This phone flaunts a 6.74″ HD+ (1,600 x 720 pixels) display with a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. This phone is packed with 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The device is bundled with a 10W C-type charger.
On the imaging front, this phone is armed with a 50MP primaryl camera supported by unspecified secondary sensor and 5MP AI Selfie camera. Like the rear camera, it also features an AI portrait mode with depth control for stunning selfies along with many film filters feature. For video, the front camera also supports time-lapse selfies and can record videos at 1080p at 30fps or 720p at 30fps.
For phone’s longevity and protect its display, the POCO M6 5G is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass. Moreover, its expansive screen is equipped with splash resistance and dust protection capabilities. It comes with the Fast Side fingerprint sensor which is placed conveniently on the side of the phone.
Running on Android 13 with MIUI 14, the POCO M6 5G promises two major Android updates and three years of security patches, enabling users to stay current with the latest software advancements. This phone comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and offers connectivity options of 5G, Dual 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and USB Type-C.
POCO M6 5G will be available on Flipkart starting 12 PM on December 26, 2023, in two colors: Orion Blue and Galactic Black. It is priced at INR 10,499, INR 11,499 and INR 13,499 for the 4+128GB, 6+128GB and 8+256GB variants, respectively.
