POCO today unveiled its first-ever tablet, the POCO Pad 5G in India. At just 7.52mm thin and weighing a mere 568g, it is easy to hold for extended use.
POCO Pad 5G features a 12.1-inch display with 2560×1600 resolution and 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate. Its 16:10 aspect ratio provides ample screen real estate for both productivity and entertainment. The display has Dolby Vision support and TUV Rheinland certifications for low blue light and flicker-free viewing.
This tablet is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 Mobile Platform, featuring an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.4GHz. It comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable up to a massive 1.5TB via microSD card. This tablet is packed with 10,000 mAh battery with the 33W fast charging.
POCO Pad 5G is equipped with quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos support. For creators involved in video or sound editing, having a Dolby Suite (Vision + Atmos) on the POCO Pad 5G allows them to see and hear their content in high fidelity, ensuring that the final product is of the highest quality.
POCO Pad 5G caims to have blazing-fast 5G capabilities. The tablet also supports the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard for lightning-fast internet speeds. Bluetooth 5.2 ensures stable connections with your wireless headphones and other devices. The POCO Pad 5G runs on the latest Xiaomi HyperOS, based on Android 14.
The POCO Pad 5G features an impressive camera system of 8MP in the rear which supports video recording at 1080P and 720P, both at 30 frames per second (fps) and 8MP front camera.
The POCO Pad 5G will be available for purchase in the Indian market in two color variants: Pistachio Green and Cobalt Blue, starting at 12 PM on 27th August 2024, on Flipkart. The pad is priced at INR 19,999 for the 8GB+128GB storage variant and INR 21,999 for the 8GB+256GB storage variant. These prices are valid for the first day of sale and include an INR 3000 offer on SBI, HDFC and ICICI bank cards. POCO has also included an additional INR 1000 discount for students in this price.
POCO Pad 5G also comes with a free 1-year Times Prime membership for first 1500 customers and a free 6-month subscription to MS Office 365 (available to all buyers). It can be added as a bundle for INR 1 at the time of purchase. No cost EMIs are available with all leading banks for 3 months and 6 months.
