Qualcomm’s Dragonwing Cellular Infrastructure platforms for 5G Open RAN are gaining traction globally, with Viettel deploying a live 5G O-RAN Massive MIMO network and NTT DOCOMO leveraging Qualcomm’s X100 Accelerator Cards for its nationwide 5G vRAN rollout. This adoption highlights the commercial readiness of Open RAN solutions, enabling operators to modernize networks with powerful, cost-effective, and interoperable equipment.
