Chinese handsets maker, Lenovo has announced its association with top and talented Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor as the brand ambassador for smartphones in India. Under this agreement, Ranbir will endorse Lenovo’s range of smartphones and will feature in various television and online commercials for the brand in India. Ranbir Kapoor has endorsed earlier Lenovo PCs and Tablets and will continue endorsing Tablets in this partnership too. Lenovo will soon launch a series of TV and online commercials featuring Ranbir Kapoor.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sudhin Mathur, Director-Smartphones, Lenovo India said, “Ranbir Kapoor is a multi-talented and popular actor, who is admired across the nation. Lenovo had introduced its flagship smartphone Vibe Z in India in Feb. 2014, which is getting good response. The Vibe Z sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920×1080) wide angle viewing touchscreen display, and is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Lenovo had also launched its premium smartphone Vibe X with 5 inch HD display in India in the month of December, 2013. Lenovo has also announced acquisition of Motorola from Google and after its amalgation with Motorola the Lenovo smartphones will get boost in the international markets including India.
