Realme has launched today its entry-level 5G smartphone in India – Realme 12x 5G. This phone sports a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate and comes with Panda glass protection for the display. This phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor with 1080×2400 resolution and with a segment-first Vapor Chamber Cooling system and Mali G57 GPU. It comes in three variants of 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM with 128GB of storage. This phone is packed with 5000mAh battery with 45W SUPER VOOC charger.
For the optics, this phone is equipped with 50MP primary camera supported by 2MP secondary camera, and an 8MP selfie camera. For low-light photography, this phone features a Super Nightscape Mode.
The 12x 5G runs on Realm UI 5.0 based on the Android 14 operating system. Realme has promised 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security patches with this device. This phone is IP54 Dust & Water Resistance and is also equipped with dual stereo speakers and fingerprint sensor.
The realme 12x 5G also incorporates air gesture feature that lets users use their phones without making physical touch. With simple air movements, users can quickly answer and mute calls. Furthermore, easy swipe gestures make it simple to navigate through video streams on well-known apps like Facebook and YouTube.
This phone offers connectivity options of 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 4 & 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, GPS/Beidou/Glonass/Galileo/QZSS etc.
