realme has launched today two smartphones in India – realme 9 Pro 5G and realme 9 Pro+ 5G. Both smartphones sport the Light Shift Design feature on the rear panel. Under normal sunlight or ultraviolet light, the back cover will completely change from blue to red in about 3 seconds; under no sunlight, it will return to its original color in 2-5 minutes. The Light Shift Design only applies to the Sunrise Blue variant of the smartphones.
The realme 9 Pro+ 5G and realme 9 Pro 5G run on realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 out of the box. Both the phones come with Dynamic RAM Expansion feature, which turns ROM into virtual RAM to extend RAM. With the realme 9 Pro 5G series, you can add up to 5GB Dynamic RAM to the original RAM on the smartphone to get additional space. Both the phones offer connectivity options of USB Type-C, Dual 4G VoLTE, 5G SA/NSA (13 bands), Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2 and GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou.
realme 9 Pro 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G processor with Adreno 619 GPU.
