At an event in New Delhi, Realme has launched today Realme C2 budget smartphone which is successor of Realme C1 and is the seventh phone from the house of Realme. This phone has diamond-cut design with 3-layer of paintings. Realme C2 will be available in Diamond Black and Diamond Blue colors. The 2GB RAM+16GB ROM version is priced Rs. 5999 and 3GB RAM+32GB ROM variant comes for Rs. 7999. This phone wil go on sale from 15th May on realme.com and flipkart.
The Realme C2 comes with 6.1inch (1560 x 720 pixels) Dewdrop display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. This phone is powered by 2GHz Octa Core MediaTek Helio P22 12nm processor and combined with 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and alternatively with 3GB RAM with 32GB storage which can be extended up to 256GB with microSD card. This phone is packed with 4000mAh battery. This phone comes with Dual SIM slots for 4G VoLTE and third dedicated slot for microSD card.
For imaging this phone is equipped with13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and secondary camera of 2MP. The AI dual rear cameras are claimed to be apt for more definite and natural photos with the Chroma Boost that can improve the HDR range and colours. Realme C2 will also be the first phone at this price to support a 80fps/480P slow-motion video recording. For selfies, this phone has 5MP AI front camera.
This phone runs on Color OS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie. It offers connectivity options of WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, Dual 4G VoLTE. For security, this phone has AI face unlock but no fingerprint sensor.
