After tasting success in affordable segment, Realme has entered mid-premium segment and launched today Realme X2 Pro with top-notch features at very attractive price point. The X2 Pro is priced Rs. 29,999 for 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant and Rs. 33,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM variant. This phone will be available in Neptune Blue and Lunar White colors. It will go on sale at 12 noon, 26th November, 2019 on realme.com, flipkart and soon in offline stores. The USP of X2 Pro is its 50W Super VOOC Flash Charge (100% Charge in 35 mins) and the latest Snapdragon 855+ processor.
On the design front, the X2 Pro is made from glass and metal with protection of Gorilla Glass 5 on the back and display. It sports a 6.5 inch (2400 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ Fluid AMOLED 3D curved glass display with 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, DCI-P3 color gamut and anti-glare display. This phone is powered by the fastest Snapdragon 855 Plus with Adreno 640 GPU that gives the processor 15% faster graphics rendering than the Snapdragon 855. It comes with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB UFS 3.0 storage and alternatively with 12GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. This phone is packed with 4000mAh battery with 50W Super VOOC Flash Charge technology that charges from zero to full in 35 minutes which is a great feat.
On the imaging front, the X2 Pro has a rear quad camera set-up consisting of 64MP main lens with f/1.8 large aperture, 13MP 2x optical zoom lens with 5x hybrid optical zoom and up to 20x hybrid zoom, 8MP 115° Super Wide-Angle Anti-Distortion lens and 2MP depth sensor. The rear cameras can record 4K image resolution videos and its UIS super anti-shake algorithm combined with the built-in ultra-high-sensitivity gyroscope corrects any hand movements or shaking in real time. Additionally, it can also take real-time video blurring effect, super wide-angle videos and 960fps slow motion videos. For selfie, it has 16MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX471 sensor and f/2.0 aperture.
For security, this phone has in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature. This phone runs on Android 9.0 with ColorOS 6.1. It is Dual SIM supporting phone and offers connectivity options of Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac -2.4GHz + 5GHz, Bluetooth 5, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. It is equipped with dual surround sound speakers paired with Dolby Atmos technology.
Realme has also launched Realme X2 Pro Master Edition designed by renowned designer Naoto Fukasawa. The Master Edition is inspired by historical architecture materials—red brick and cement. The Master Edition of Red Brick & Concrete will be available only in 12+256 GB variant at INR 34,999.
Realme X2 Pro will be competing with OnePlus 7 Series and Redmi K20 Pro. It will be interesting to see how consumers accept latest offering of Realme which is in 30K segment.
