Redmi 7A, successor of the last year’s Redmi 6A, has been launched today by Xiaomi in India. Redmi 7A has matte finish unibody design and its body is splash-proof to ensure protection against accidental falls and spills. This is the first phone to come with 2 years warranty.
The Redmi 7A sports 5.45 inch (1440 x 720 pixels) HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 with 2.5D curved glass. This phone is powered by Snapdragon 439 octa-core processor with Adreno 505 GPU. It comes in two variants of 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and alternatively with 32GB storage which can be further extended up to 256GB with microSD card. This phone is packed with 4000mAh battery.
For imaging, this phone has 12MP rear camera with LED flash, Sony IMX486 sensor and PDAF. For selfie, this phone comes with 5MP front-facing camera with AI Portrait mode and AI Face unlock feature.
This is Dual SIM supporting phone and has dedicated third slot for microSD card for expansion of internal storage. This phone runs on MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie. For connectivity, this phone offers options of Dual 4G VoLTE, 3.5mm audio jack, Wireless FM Radio Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS.
Pricing:
Redmi 7A will be available in Matte Black, Matte Blue and Matte Gold colour variants. The 2GB+16GB variant will be available for an introductory price of INR 5799 and the 2GB+32GB variant will be available for INR 5999 for the month of July on the occasion of Mi Turns 5. The 2GB+16GB variant will be available for INR 5999 and the 2GB+32GB variant will be available for INR 6199 post the introductory offer. Redmi 7A will be available starting 12 PM on 11th July via Mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Home stores. It will also go on sale across offline stores soon.
