Ricoh India Limted, which is a subsidiary of Ricoh of Japan, is on aggressive mega expansion plans in India to catch up with the fast expanding digital printing market for shorter runs jobs. To cater to the fast emerging Production Printing market in India, Richo has launched today three new mdoels of production printers – Ricoh Pro C901/901S GA+, Ricoh Pro C5100S/5110S and Ricoh MP CW 2200SP.
The Ricoh Pro C901 series provide integrated full-colour scanning,copying,and document storage to meet image capture and print-on-demand requirements. Both systems also employ Ricoh’s next-generation oil-free imaging technologies to produce output with near-offset quality while minimising costs. These systems are ideal for printing shops and big companies, who have to print lot of material in small quantity at very short notice, whiich is not viable to be printed on conventional sheet fed offset printing machine. These systems do not compete with conventional printing, but complement them.
The new Ricoh Pro C5100 series of printers are best suited for SME/SMB segment, which will benefit from these entry level products with competitive price and low cost of operation. Ricoh C 5100 have print speed of 65 A4 pages per minute and 80 A4 per pages per minute, with the duty cycle of 300 K A4 pages per minute.

The products launched today start at the price of Rs. 25 lakhs to 75 lakhs depending upon the configurations selected by the end users.
