Samsung has expanded the portfolio of  its Galaxy range of tablets and  unveiled GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) in India. This tablet is priced at Rs. 49,99o, and will be available in two color options, Jet Black and Classic White. The sleek and light Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 is available in WiFi and 3G connectivity option.

The Galaxy Note 10.1(2014) features a 10.1-inch WQXGA (2560X1600) Super clear LCD display. For India, this tablet  is powered by a 1.9GHz quad-core Exynos 5 Octa processor. It comes with 3GB of RAM, and 16GB built-in storage, which can be further extended upto 64 GB via microSD card. It is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor and autofocus accompanied by an LED flash, as well as a 2-megapixel BSI sensor, and  runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. This tablet is packed with powerful 8220mAh battery.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 comes with the updated S Pen features, which are found on recently introduced Galaxy Note 3 phablet. These  features are : Action Memo, Scrapbook, Screen Write and S Finder. Combined with the tablet’s larger screen, these enhanced S Pen capabilities present users with unique creative opportunities and the space to explore them. With new Scrapbook capabilities, users can easily indicate any interesting content with the S Pen and organize it into individualized scrapbooks.

The new GALAXY Note 10.1 also has enhanced privacy and security protection provided by Samsung KNOX. Users can activate Samsung KNOX with ease which allows them to run and store security-sensitive applications and data inside a protected execution environment called “container.”

The new GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also offer host of useful apps which are avaialble in a special “Content Gifts” category in the Samsung Apps store. These apps include  Bloomberg Businessweek, The New York Times, Autodesk Sketchbook for GALAXY for painting and sketching, and India relevant apps including a mega six month subscription package to 30 leading Indian Magazines from Magzter & Magna Group. These digital magazines have been especially developed keeping the Galaxy Note10.1’s rich display and S-Pen interactivity in mind.  Users also get free HD Games, Zoomin photo prints, CBSE study material (one year access to books, tests & video lectures) from Genext, Box TV subscription (for over 5,000 movies), Saavn Pro subscription (access to 2 mn songs offline).
