As stated correctly by NewYork Times the iPhone 5 that Apple introduced last week with only incremental changes seemed to signal that the industry has entered an era of technological bunny hops. A change here in hardware and some improvements in Apps there and the new baby takes birth. To make its launch exciting and to grab attention of worldwide media, rumours mills are oiled properly well in advance to churn out all types of stories and expected specs and the platform is made ready to unveil the new device amidst fanfare and dazzling shows.
To start above process, probably rumours have started emerging that Samsung is working on its new smart toy – Galaxy S 4 and as per reports of The Korea Time, this new flagship device will be unveiled in the forthcoming Mobile World Congress in Spain in Feb, 2013.
As per The Korea Times, Samsung Galaxy S IV may feature a 5″ inch flexible OLED display and it will definitely use LTE networks. It will be equipped with Samsung’s Exynos processors and quad-core chips. No further details in regards to specs or pricing of Samsung Galaxy S 4 have emerged so far except that it will be available commercially in March in select markets. More speculations and rumours will start flaoting in the coming days and months to keep everybody guessing how the new baby would look like when it is delivered finally. The new baby has already been conceived as confirmed unofficially by Samsung officials and parts suppliers.
Samsung’s Galaxy S III is already giving tough fight to Apple’s iPhone and new iPhone 5 does not have game-changing features. After the arrival of Galaxy S 4 with minor changes, it will wean away attention from iPhone 5 and MWC is the ideal platform to announce new device where all the mobile enthusiasts converge to see the latest developments in mobile arena. By that time, Samsung’s Galaxy S III product cycle would also be complete and they would be appropriately placed to launch new iteration of its Galaxy S range.
