Samsung To Launch Galaxy Note 4 In India On 15th October

As expected, Samsung is set to launch its latest flagship Galaxy Note 4 in India to take advantage of Diwali shopping enthusiasm. We learn from our sources that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 4 in India most probably on 15th October and this phablet will be available from the same day or from 17th October across all retail stores.

Coincidentally, Apple’s latest iPhone 6 Series would also go on sale in India on 17th October. The Galaxy Note 4 would compete directly with iPhone 6 Plus. The Galaxy Note 4 is expected to be priced around Rs. 52,000 and there are chances that Samsung may throw in some goodies in the package to make the offer attractive.

Earlier, it was rumored that Samsung would launch the Galaxy Note 4 in India on 10th October, but probably it was delayed to see the official prices of the iPhones 6 series. Since Apple has officially announced its prices for iPhones 6, Samsung has ample time to decide the price for India to make a cut among the prospective buyers.

The Galaxy Note 4 runs on Android KitKat 4.4 OS and sports a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560×1440) Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 515ppi. It will be powered by a 2.7 GHz Quad-Core Processor or 1.9 GHz Octa-Core (1.9GHz Quad + 1.3GHz Quad-Core) Processor, paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which is expandable to 64GB via microSD card. This phablet will work with 4G LTE.

The Galaxy Note 4 is equipped with a 16 megapixel rear-facing camera with a Smart Optical Image Stabilizer. It also houses a 3.7 megapixel front-facing camera with f1.9 lens, which offers a default 90 degree shooting angle and up to 120 degree wide angle for snapping effective selfies.

The Galaxy Note 4 is fuelled by a powerful Li-ion 3,220mAh with the fast charging feature and Ultra Power saving mode.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also comes with advanced S Pen, which is capabale of providing a more natural brush effect that perfectly emulates writing on paper with a fountain or calligraphy pen.

It is going to be war among the titans this Diwali and expect lot of crackers from the stables of Samsung and Apple!

  1. That would just be the unveiling. No one knows when it will be available for you to ‘SHOP’. Samsung please!

  3. Exactly!! First it was Oct 10 and now Oct 15….. companies mistreat India and do not value the buyers….. Why cannot they confirm the date like they do in western countries? Same holds true for Apple too
