Samsung India has inroduced the highest memory card – the EVO Plus 256GB microSD card. This offers the highest capacity for a microSD card and is ideal for use in premium smartphones and tablets, 360-degree video recorders, action cameras, and drones.
With this card, the users can record up to 55,200 photos, 12 hours of 4K UHD video, 33 hours of full HD video, 46 hours of HD video and up to 23,500 MP3 files/songs on their mobile devices or action camera.
The EVO Plus 256GB card comes with Samsung’s advanced V-NAND technology having read and write speeds of up to 95MB/s and 90MB/s, respectively. According to Samsung, ”this level of performance will provide general consumers and professionals with superb user convenience for storing heavy-loaded, high-resolution photography and 4K video recording, as well as graphic intensive multimedia like virtual reality (VR) and gaming.”
This microSD card has long-term reliability and provides advanced protection as it is waterproof (IPX7 certified), temperature-proof, X-ray-proof and magnetic-proof.
Samsung EVO Plus 256GB microSD card comes with a limited 10-year warranty. It is priced Rs. 12,999 (MRP) and available at Flipkart. It will be available at other major online and offline platforms soon.
