Samsung has launched today their mid-range smartphone, Galaxy A32 in India. This phone sports a 6.4″ FHD+ sAMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate having 20:9 aspect ratio coupled with Dolby Atmos support on wired and Bluetooth headsets for an immerse cinematic viewing. The Galaxy A32 is powered by Octa-Core Mediatek Helio G80 processor combined with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage which can be extended up to 1TB via micro SD card. It has in-built Game Booster software which monitors gaming performance and automatically adjusts settings including battery life, temperature and memory usage, for the best gaming experience as claimed by Samsung. This phone is packed with 5000mAh battery with 15W adaptive fast charging, that is claimed to provide up to 20 hours of video playback, 93 hours of music playback and 19 hours of internet usage time.
The Galaxy A32 runs on Android 11 and One UI 3.1 on top. It comes with in-display fingerprint sensor and is secured by defense-grade Samsung Knox security platform that secures your data. This phone also incorporates AltZLife feature that enhances smartphone privacy level. Users can quickly and easily switch between normal mode and private mode (Secure Folder) by simply double clicking on the power key. The on-device AI function also intelligently suggests moving private content to the Secure Folder.
For photography, this phone is armed with quad rear camera set-up of 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 123-degree field of view, 5MP macro lens for crystal clear close-up shots, and the 5MP depth camera for portrait shots in Live Focus mode. The camera has features of hyperlapse, night mode, slow-mo, panorama and pro mode. It comes with a 20MP front camera for selfies.
For connectivity, this phone offers options of USB Type-C, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 and GPS + GLONASS.
The Galaxy A32 comes in Awesome Black, Awesome White, Awesome Blue, and Awesome Violet colors and is priced INR 21999 for 6GB + 128GB variant. It will be available across retail stores, Samsung.com and leading online portals starting March 3, 2021.
