As Samsung completes 20 years in India, they have moved their corporate headquarter to more spacious place in Two Horizon Center, Gurgaon, Haryana. The new office of Samsung has carpet area of 232,000 sq ft and is spread over 5 floors. Around 1500 employees of Samsung work in this office.
The new swanky corporate office was inauguarted in the augusts presence of Sh. Kalraj Mishra, Hon’ble Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Govt of India Mr. Cho Hyun, Korean Ambassador to India, Mr. Santosh Gangwar, Minister of State for Finance, GoI, Sh. Kiran Rijiju, Minister of State for Home Affairs, GoI, and Mr. Vipul Goel, Minister of Industries and Commerce, Environment and Industrial Training, Government of Haryana and other senior government dignitaries and partners of Samsung, Mr. HC Hong, President and CEO, Samsung Southwest Asia and senior executives of Samsung.
According to Samsung, the new office has been built on their core values of People, Excellence, Change, Integrity and Co-prosperity. The design element of each floor signifies each value, with a different color code. The interiors are made to suit every aspect of modern day work-style, with amenities such as maternity care room, employee lounges, healing rooms, recreation room, ATMs and a swanky, 24,000 sq ft cafeteria and tuck shop, in addition to workstations, meeting rooms and training rooms, etc.
Samsung is very successful company and has been operating in India for the last 20 years. They are manufacturing range of white goods and mobile handsets in India. They have two manufacturing plants and three R&D facilities in India and employs around 40,000 people.
