Sony has announced today the launch of its Xperia T2 Ultra Dual smartphone at a price of Rs. 25,999.This smartphone will be available from 20th March at Sony Center stores, Xperia Flagship stores and major electronic stores across India.The Xperia T2 Ultra Dual is available in three colors – Purple, White and Black.
Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Dual sports a 6-inch HD Triluminos display with Mobile Bravia Engine 2 and comes with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels.This phablet runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and is powered by a quad-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon processor with 1GB of RAM. It is equipped with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The Xperia T2 Ultra Dual is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery with battery STAMINA Mode that automatically turns off functions to save power when you don’t need them and restarts them when you do.This phablet is 7.6 mm thick and weighs 173g, and can fit easily in a jacket pocket.
Sony Xperia T2 Ultra is a DUAL-SIM phablet with which users can set up both SIM cards independently with custom ring tones and one-touch switching between SIMs before making calls or sending texts. With Sony’s dual SIM management technology, users can keep both SIMs active, never missing a call, even whilst talking on one of them.
The Xperia T2 Ultra is also equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with Exmor RS sensor, and a 1.1-megapixel front-facing camera with an Exmor R sensor. Currently, the following apps will be available for extending its functionality:
- Collage: It allows you to drop images directly into creative photo collages by changing formats, layouts and backgrounds
- Background defocus: With this, you can create stunning images full of depth by separating foreground elements and burring the background
- Timeshift burst: It ensures you get the perfect photo every time by taking 31 photos within two seconds, both before and after you press the shutter. You can then scroll through them afterwards to select the perfect shot.
- Sweep Panorama: You can snap amazing and seamless panoramas easily. Take a snap then sweep the phone in a direction you set to capture wide-angle panoramas.
