Spice has announced the launch of its Smart Flo Mettle 5X smartphone with 5 inch display having sleek metal finish body, which wil be available at Rs. 6,499/- across India through Homeshop18 e-commerce site. Spice has also announced that it would be launching two more models in the Mettle series, the Mettle 4X and Mettle 3.5X, later this month. But the company has not announced its specifications and prices.
The Smart Flo Mettle 5X is Dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) based smartphone, which supports 2G connectivity, and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It sports a 5-inch display with a resolution of 480×854 pixels. The Smart Flo Mettle 5X is powered by a dual-core 1.3GHz processor, coupled with 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. This smartphone is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It is packed with an 1800mAh battery that can deliver up to 4 hours of talktime and up to 150 hours standby time.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE and Micro-USB. This phone comes pre-loaded with popular BBM messenger service of BlackBerry. It also sports an innovative Voice Unlock feature which allows the user to unlock the phone with a pre-defined voice command.
