Tecno Camon i Smartphone with 13MP Front & Rear Cameras, 5.65 inch Full View Display Launched at Rs. 8,999

Tecno Mobile, the smartphone brand from Transsion Holdings, launched today Camon i smartphone in India. The USP of this phone is its 13MP rear and front cameras which are claimed to produce bright images even in low lights and HD+ full view display. Priced at Rs. 8,999 this phone is available in Midnight Black, City Blue and Champagne Gold colors.

For specifications, let us start with camera details. The Camon i is packed with 13 MP rear & front cameras, which come with f/2.0 aperture & 5P lens, for capturing crisp pictures in any light. For the selfies, this phone has a wide angle 80-degree lens with screen flash and LED flash that allows to include a large group of friends and family in one shot with ease. The rear camera with 4X flash is optimized with Night Shot Algorithm to images brighter in low light.

This phone boasts of 5.65 inch HD+ (1440×720 pixels) Full view display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. This phone is powered by MediaTek 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor mated with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further extended upto 128GB with the help of microSD card. This phone has three slots – Two for SIM and third is for microSD card. This phone is packed with 3050mAh battery. This phone offers connectivity options of 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc.

It incorporates fingerprint sensor on the back which can unlock the phone and can also be used for taking images and calls. It runs on HiOS v3.2.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

This phone and other phones of Techno come with a promise of “111”, which offers 100 days’ replacement warranty, 1-time screen replacement and 1-month extended warranty over and above the 12 months’ warranty period.

During the launch event, the company has announced that it will be launching more smartphones under Camon series which will be camera-centric.
