Twitter is slowly becoming the social media hub. More and more number of persons are joining the already vast network.

However, there are still some people who cant tweet because of some work or other restrictions. If you are one of those who can’t get enough of tweeting on Twitter as your company blocks twitter.com or you’re afraid what your boss might say if she saw you twittering all day, then check out Spreadtweet.

Spreadtweet is a Twitter client that looks just like a spreadsheet. It comes in a few flavors, including ones that look like Office OSX, Office 2003 (Windows) and Office 2007 (Windows).

To get up and running you need the Adobe AIR runtime and then when you launch you simply type in your username and password for Twitter. Moments later you’re greeted with a display that looks just like an unnamed spreadsheet, with new tweets appearing at the top and a blank box with the word “send” next to it for sending your own tweets. The coolest thing about Spreadtweet is that it’s super fast and reminds me of the early days of e-mail where there was nothing fancy–just text.
