It is a season of leaks and speculation as the Unpacked event of Samsung is drawing near. Samsung is going to unveil the next iteration of its highly successful phablet – Galaxy Note 5, which started its journey in 2011 and every year new version is launched by Samsung since then. The unpacked event of Samsung will take place in NewYork on 13th August.
In such a scenario, the most busy persons on this earth are leaksters and speculators. The renowned leakster Evan Blass has announced on its twitter handle @evleaks the probable specifications of Galaxy Note 5 and also released the images of Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Plus, which is reproduced below. According to him, the Galaxy Note 5 will have following key features:
- 5.66 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels
- Octa-core Exynos 7420 processor (four cores are clocked at 2.1GHz whereas the other four cores at 1.5GHz). Other tech specs included are:
- 4GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB of internal storage
- Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS
- 16MP Rear camera and 5MP Front shooter
- S Pen Stylus
It is also being speculated that Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will also have larger display of 5.66 inches and the dimensions of both the devices will almost be same.
However, we are just 9 days away from the launch event of Samsung when it will be crystal clear what comes out from the stable of South Korean giant. Going by the record of evleaks, one can say that this time also, Evan Blass will not be proved wrong.
