HTC has officially announced today the launch of upgraded HTC Desire 828 smartphone. The upgraded variant comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage comapred to earlier version of 2GB RAM and 16GB of ROM. Rest of the features are same. However, the new variant also has the same price tag of Rs. 19,990. The new variant of HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM comes in Dark Gray and Pearl White colours.
The upgraded Desire 828 Dual SIM also sports a 5.5 inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display. It is packed with 1.5GHz, octa-core processor (MediaTek MT6753 chipset) paired with 3GB of RAM and 36GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable to 2TB via microSD card.
It packs a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash,optical image stabilisation, auto focus, BSI sensor, and HD video recording capability in 1080p.
This phone also comes with an UltraPixel front camera with fixed focus, BSI sensor and HTC UltraSelfie feature. With UltraPixel advanced imaging technology, the front camera is capable of capturing 300% more light than conventional cameras and enables you to click the images even in low light. The ƒ2.0 front camera with its wider 26.8 mm lens also enables the user to include more people and backgraound in their selfies.
As its name suggests, this phone support Dual-SIM (both Nano-SIM cards), and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with HTC Sense 7 on the top. This phone is compatible with 4G LTE connectivity of all Indian networks. It also offers standard connectivity options of Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB 2.0 (5-pin) etc. It also incorporates Ambient light, Proximity, Motion G, Compass and Magnetic sensors.accelerometer, compass, and magnetic sensors. The Desire 828 Dual SIM is fuelled by a 2800mAh battery.
The Desire 828 Dual-SIM also boasts of the HTC BoomSound front facing speakers with Dolby Audio to provide immersive and crystal clear sound.
