Videocon has launched today its latest smartphone, Videocon Cube 3 with host of SOS features and impressive hardware at an affordable price-point of Rs. 8,490.
As per Government of India’s direction for mandatory Panic Button on the smartphones, the Cube 3 comes with ‘SOS-Be Safe’ app to get help effectively, swiftly in any emergency conditions by sending an alert to the numbers added in the emergency list. The app also has the GPS feature and provides a map view of nearby police stations and hospitals.
This app also has features of ‘Walk with Me’ to send an emergency alert to the family or friends if the user cross the fixed distance and Reach on Time’ sends an alert if the users do not reach the selected destination within the fixed time.
Videocon has confirmed that its SOS app will be introduced across its entire smartphone portfolio. This phone also incorporates Gesture control feature and you can also set-up Dual Whatsapp on it.
This phone features 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with 2.5D curved glass and Dragon Trail glass protection. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. This phone is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor with MaliT720 GPU. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage with provision to extend the memory. This is Dual SIM phone and also offers connectivity options of 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS etc. This phone is equipped with 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus and also houses 5MP selfie camera.
