Vivo has announced today its flagship smartphone, Vivo NEX 3S 5G in China, which is the successor of the NEX 3 smartphone that was launched last year. The Nex 3S 5G is packed with Snapdragon 865 7nm Mobile chipset. This phone has liquid cooling feature to keep it going without heating for longer gaming sessions.
The Nex 3S 5G sports a huge 6.89 inch waterfall display with 90 degrees curved screen from both sides having a 99.6% ultra-high screen ratio. The Full HD+ AMOLED display comes with resolution of 1080 × 2256 pixels and support for HDR10. This phone is powered by the latest 2.84GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 865 7nm processor with Adreno 650 GPU combined with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB (UFS 3.1) of internal stoarge or alternatively with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM with 512GB (UFS 3.1) of internal storage. It is packed with 4500mAh battery with 44W ultra-fast charging which claims to charge upto 65 percent of battery in 30 minutes. This is Dual SIM supporting phone and runs on Android 10 with layer if Funtouch OS 10.
For imaging, this phone is packed with triple rear camera comprising of 64MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash + 13MP camera with 120-degree ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture with capability to shoot 2.5cm macro images and 13 MP telephoto camera with features of 2x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom. It is equipped with 16MP pop-up selfie camera.
This phone has in-display fingerprint sensor and also come with features of WiFi-6 and NFC-eSE security chip. It offers connectivity options of Dual 4G VoLTE, 5G NSA & SA, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB Type-C and NFC.
The NEX 3S 5G comes in three colors of Black, Blue and Red. It is priced Yuan 4998 ( approx. Rs. 54,000) for the 8GB RAM+256GB ROM variant and Yuan 5298 (approx. Rs. 57,000) for the 12GB + 512GB storage version. It will be available in China from 14th March onwards.
