As you know Vivo is lead sponsor of 10th Edition of cricketing extravangaza, IPL which is starting on 5th April. To mark the beginning of this religious sort of festival of cricket, Chines brand Vivo has launched today its highly successful Vivo V5 Plus IPL Limited Edition smartphone.
The Vivo V5 Plus Limited Edition was launched by Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan at an event in Hyderabad. This phone has the same features of regular Vivo V5 Plus which was launched in India in the month of January at Rs. 27,980. The only differnce is that the Limited Edition comes in the Matte black color and sports VIVOIPL logo engraved at the back of the phone.The limited edition smartphone will be available from 10th April on Flipkart, retail outlets and Vivo exclusive stores only. Vivo has not disclsoed the price of this phone and in our opinion, it could be expensive by just Rs. 1000 from the regular variant.

Just to remind our readers, the V5 Plus is selfie-focussed smartphone and is mounted with two cameras on the front – 20 Megapixel and 8 Megapixel. The 20 Megapixel camera comes with Sony IMX376 1/2.78-inch sensor with f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens system, Moonlight Glow flash and the second 8 Megapixel camera has been given to capture depth of field and provide Bokeh effect. This phone has 16MP rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture and Phase Detection Auto Focus.
The V5 Plus sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels resolution) Full HD display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. This phone comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is not expandable. It runs Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The V5 Plus gets its juice from 3055mAh battery that comes with Vivo’s twin-charging engine technology for faster charging. It also has a fingerprint scanner embedded into the home button. This phone has Hybrid SIM slots. On the connectivity front, the V5 Plus offers options of 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS. This phone comes with AK4376 Hi-Fi audio chip for providing exhilirating audio quality.
