Vivo India has launched today its budget smartphone, Vivo Y01. Priced at INR 8999, the vivo Y01 will be available in two colors – Elegant Black and Sapphire Blue on vivo India E-Store and across all partner retail stores. vivo Y01 has a sleek design and features a slim 8.28 mm thin plastic body (3D back cover) that gives it a premium look. This phone weighs 178gms.
Vivo Y01 features a 6.51? HD+ Halo Full View HD+ Display -1600X720 pixels (with Eye Protection Mode). It is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 processor and Multi-Turbo 3.0 and is paired with a 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage which can be extended upto 1TB. This phone is packed with 5000mAh battery. This smartphone packs a Triple Card Slot Design for two SIM cards and dedicated slot for microSD card. On the camera front, this phone comes with an 8MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture and 5 MP front camera for selfies with f/2.2 aperture.
This phone runs on Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11 (Go edition). It offers connectivity options of Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz/5GHz, FM, Micro USB (USB 2.0), GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo. The Y01 also features a face wake unlock feature which unlocks the device as soon as it recognizes your face as claimed by Vivo. This phone does not have fingerprint sensor.
