Vivo has launched today Y55s smartphone in India which is an upgraded version of Y55L (launched in October 2016). Vivo Y55s is priced Rs.12,490 and will be available in crown gold and space grey colors across the country from 26th February.
The Y55s is 4G LTE enabled smartphone and features a 5.2 inch HD display with a 1280×720 pixel resolution. It is powered by Snapdragon Quad-core 425 processor clocked at 1.4GHz paired with 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM which can be further expanded upto 256GB via microSD card. It come with three card slots: two for SIMs and the third slot for microSD card.
This device runs on Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is equipped with 13MP Rear Camera & 5MP Front Camera. It is packed with 2730mAh battery.
This phone also boasts of ‘Smart Screen-Split’ feature which allows users to multi-task without having to switch back and forth every time a message pops up. Users can chat and watch videos simultaneously on one screen without causing strain to the eyes with the “Eye Protection Mode.”
