Vivo has launched Vivo Z3 smartphone in China. This phone has same design and display of Vivo Z3i (Vivo V11 Pro in India) which was released earlier in China and in India as Vivo V11 Pro. The Vivo Z3 is an upgraded version of Z3i but does not incorporate indisplay fingerprint sensor. For security, the Z3 comes with fingerprint scanner on the back and IR face unlock which can read your face even in dark and also is capable of scanning 1024 dimensions of your face to unlock the phone quickly.
The Vivo Z3 sports a 6.3inch (1080 x 2280 pixels) Full HD+ Super AMOLED Display with watedrop notch having an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It comes in two variants – one is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 670 processor with Adreno 615 GPU and paired with 4GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage. Second variant is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 710 processor with Adreno 616 GPU and paired with 6GB RAM with 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. Internal stoarge of all the variants can be extended up to 256GB with microSD card. This phone is packed with 3315mAh battery.
For photography, this phone is armed with 12MP +2MP rear cameras with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and AI capabilites. For selfies, it has bee equipped with12MP front shooter with f/2.0 aperture and AI beautify feature.
This is Dual SIM phone and runs on Funtouch OS 4.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It offers connectivity options of Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack.
In China, this phone comes in three colors – Aurora Blue, Midnight Black, Pink and is priced as follows:
- Snapdragon 670 with 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM – Yuan 1598 ( Approx. Rs. 17000)
- Snapdragon 710 with 6GB RAM, 64GB/128 GB – Yuan 1898 (Approx Rs. 20,000) and Yuan 2298(Approx Rs. 23,000) respectively.
It is expected to be launched in India in the month of November.
