As part of the campaign, the TVC featuring WeChat’s brand ambassadors – Parineeti Chopra and Varun Dhawan hits the television and online screens today with the tagline – “Naye Purane Ajeeb Shajeeb, all friends are now on WeChat – the all in one social app”.
The tagline and the TVC capture the essence of WeChat having become the preferred platform for the youth to connect with all their friends thanks to its various innovative features like ‘Voice Messaging’, ‘Stickers’, ‘Photo sharing’, ‘Video Chatting ’, and ‘Location Based Services’.
WeChat has seen an exponential growth in India and the fact that WeChat has topped the leading app stores such as Google Play, iOS App Store, Windows Marketplace and BlackBerry AppWorld as the most downloaded app only goes to showcase its popularity with the youth of the country.
