Xiaomi has launched today Redmi 9 Power with powerful features at an attracive price range. The Redmi 9 Power sports a 6.53 inch FHD+ display with contrast ratio of 1500:1, 400 nits brightness and protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. This phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 662 processor combined with Adreno 610 GPU. This phone comes with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and two options of UFS 2.2 storage of 64/128GB with a dedicated MicroSD card slot for expanding storage to 512GB. One of the highlights of this phone is its massive 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charging which claims to provide 14 hours of VoLTE calling in 30 minutes of charging.
On the imaging front, this phone is armed with a 48MP quad camera set-up comprising of a 48MP primary Samsung GM1 sensor, 8MP ultra wide camera with 120° field of view, 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfie and video calling, it is equipped with an 8MP front camera.
For security, this phone has side mounted fingerprint sensor and AI face unlock. It also comes with a Hi-Res audio certification with stereo speakers for an immersive multimedia experience. The Redmi 9 Power features an all new Aura Power Design. Its splash resistant coating is coupled with rubberised ports for providing protection against accidental spills. The longevity of the smartphone is ensured by the corrosion resistant ports.
This phone runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 10. For connectivity, the Redmi 9 Power offers various options of Dual 4G VoLTE, 2.4GHz/5GHz WIFI, Bluetooth 5.0, IR Blaster, 3.5MM headphone jack, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C.
Redmi 9 Power will be available in four color variants- Mighty Black, Blazing Blue, Fiery Red and Electric Green. It is priced Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB+64GB variant and Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB+128GB variant. It will be available across Mi.com, Amazon India, Mi Homes and Mi Studios starting 22 December 2020. It will also be soon available across all 10,000+ retail stores.
