Alongside Redmi Note 8 Pro, Xiaomi has also launched today Redmi Note 8 smartphone in India. This phone has quad camera set-up in the back having 48MP primary camera. This phone is powered by Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor and comes in two variants of 4GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB (UFS 2.1) storage and 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage and internal storage can be extended up to 512GB with microSD card. This phone has two slots for Nano SIM cards and third dedicated slot for microSD card. This phone has Aura fluid design with S-curve halographoc design. It also has splash-resistant P2i coating.
This phone features a 6.39 inch Full HD+ (2340 ×1080 pixels) display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 90% screen-to-body ratio having protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is packed with 4000mAh battery with 18W fast charger which comes in the box. This phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 on top and will get updated to newly announced MIUI 11 in few weeks.
For photography, this phone has four cameras in the back – 48MP camera with LED Flash, f/1.79 aperture, Samsung ISOCELL GM2 sensor, 8MP 120° ultra-wide angle lens, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP camera for 2cm macro with 1.75?m pixel size and f/2.4 aperture.
