Xiaomi Mi Note 3 with 6GB RAM, Dual Rear Cameras Announced in China

Xiaomi has also launched today Mi Note 3 alongwith Mi Mix 2 at an event in China. The highlight of this smartphone is its Dual Rear camera of 12MP in the rear.

The Mi Note sports a 5.5 inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD display. It is powered by
Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor with Adreno 512 GPU and 6GB LPDDR4x RAM. It has internal storage options of 64GB / 128GB which cannot be enhanced. This phone is packed with 3500mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. It runs Android 7.1 (Nougat) with MIUI 9 on the top.

This phone has Dual camera setup with optical zoom. The primary camera has 12MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture, dual LED flash, 4-axis OIS stabilization, 4K video recording capability and secondary 12MP camera has f/2.6 aperture. It is also mounted with 16MP front-facing camera with the Beautify feature with an AI algorithm for beautifying selfies. Mi Note 3 also has a new unlocking method through AI-based facial recognition for unlocking the phone and it also has fingerprint sensor.

This phone supports Dual SIM (nano + nano) and also offers connectivity options of 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11c, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. It comes with accelerometer sensor ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, infrared sensor, and proximity sensor. It is also equipped with Stereo speakers.

This phone is priced CNY 2,499 (approx Rs. 25,000) for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage version, CNY 2,899 (approx Rs. 28,300) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB inbuilt storage version in Black. The Blue colored phone is priced CNY 2,999 (approx. Rs. 29,500) with 6GB RAM/ 128GB inbuilt storage.
