Xiaomi of China has launched very economical Mi VR Play headset in India. Priced at Rs. 999, the new Xiaomi Mi VR Play headset will be available exclusively on Mi.com and offline channels starting 21 December from 12 p.m. onwards during Mi India’s Christmas sale.
Mi VR Play is lightweight gadget and made of durable Lycra for long-lasting comfort. Its unique two-way zipper helps to ensure compatibility, providing a secure grip on a wide range of 4.7- to 5.7-inch smartphones. At the same time, the dual openings on the front allow for slight positioning adjustments and ventilation.
The Mi VR Play headset is Google Cardboard compatible and can be used to watch 360-degree videos on YouTube, Mi Live VR livestreams and other Virtual Reality content.
Xiaomi has also launched the Mi Live which is India’s first live streaming app with locally sourced content. Mi Live would also support a new VR feature, which allows users to view VR content in the app and goes live today in India and China. Mi Live is the only live streaming app in India to support VR live streaming.
