Xiaomi has launched today Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet in India. This tablet sports a 11 inch (2880 x 1800) 16:10 display with 2.8K resolution with 309 Pixels Per Inch. The display has variable refresh rate of 30/48/60Hz 50Hz 90/120/144Hz30/48/50/60/90/120/144hz with features of HDR 10, Dolby Vision and has protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. This tablet is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 870 processir with Adreno 650 GPU which is paired with 6GB LPDDR5 with 128GB UFS 3.1 storage and alternatively 8GB LPDDR5 with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. This tablet is packed with 8840mAh battery with 33W in-box fast charger which gives you over 15 hours of video playback (1080p online video), 65 hours of music playback (online) and over 26 days of standby. It charges to 100% in about 100 minutes.
The keyboard of this tablet has been completely revamped for with lettering that reflects light and offers clear visibility even in the dark. It features 64 keys with a 1.3mm key travel ensuring tactile feedback during the
typing experience. The keyboard includes a multi-task key for customizable shortcuts, and it is IPX4 rated for water resistance. Moreover, this smart keyboard already has all the shortcuts from users’ experience of using Mac/ Windows built right into it which ensures that they can switch to Xiaomi Pad 6 with ease.
Xiaomi Pad 6 comes with an 8MP front camera with ultra wide 105-degree Field of view (FOV) and
13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF. This tablet runs on Android 13 with MIUI 14 for tablets.
This tablet also comes with a redesigned Smart Pen (2nd Gen) which offers 150 hours of battery life and 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. The new Smart Pen also boasts a 40% reduced latency compared to the previous generation, allowing for faster responsiveness. Additionally, it offers 300% more resistance to abrasion, ensuring durability and longevity. The Smart Pen can be charged by placing it on top of the tablet and just a 1-minute charge provides up to 7 hours of usage time.
This tablet comes in two colors of Graphite Grey and chic Mist Blue. The Xiaomi Pad 6 will be available at a special launch price of INR 26,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant, while the 8GB+256GB variant will be available at a starting price of INR 28,999. Consumers can avail an instant INR 3000 discount on select ICICI credit and debit cards taking the effective pricing to INR 23,999 and INR 25,999 respectively. This tablet will go on sale starting 21st June 2023 across Mi.com, Amazon.in and Xiaomi retail partners.
