Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro With 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM, Fingerprint Sensor Launched

Xiaomi has introduced  Redmi 3 Pro phone in China which is an upgraded version of Redmi 3 smartphone. The Redmi 3 Pro has been upgraded in three fields – RAM capacity, internal storage and location of fingerprint scanner. The Redmi 3 Pro comes with 3GB RAM, 32GB of  internal storage and fingerprint sensor has been provided on the back. The rest of the specifications of the Redmi 3 Pro are similar to the Redmi 3.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro will be available in Gray, Silver and Gold color variants. It has a price tag of 899 yuan ( approx. Rs. 9,000). It will go on sale in China from 6th April and the company has not given time schedule for its roll-out in other markets including India.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro sports a 5 inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display and runs MIUI 7 based on Android Lollipop. Under the hood is an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 ( 4 x 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex A53) 64-bit processor with Adreno 405 GPU paired with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable to 128GB via microSD card. The Redmi 3 was equipped with 2GB RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage.

THe Redmi 3 Pro has full metal magnesium alloy unibody design. The other highlight of this phone is its huge 4100mAh battery. This phone comes with hybrid SIM slot.

On the camera front, the Redmi 3 Pro has been given 13 MP rear camera with PDAF, LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1080p video recording capability and 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and 1080p video recording feature.

This phone offers connectivity options of 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, A-GPS, Glonass, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n etc. It has dimensions of 139.3 x 69.6 x 8.5mm and weighs 144g.
