After much speculations, Xiaomi of China has confirmed officially that the company will be unveiling Redmi Pro on 27th July at an event in Beijing. But to enhance the curiosity of the media, Xiaomi has also announced that mysterious little friend will also be launched alongside the Redmi Pro and which is this device, their is no speculatio to this effect so far.
As per many reports, the upcoming Redmi Pro is expected to sport 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display and under the hood would be MT6797M chipset clocked at 2 GHz with 4 GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Another variant could be packed with MediaTek Helio X25 MT6797T clocked at 2.5 GHz with 6 GB of RAM a8nd 128GB of internal storage. Both the variants will have fingerprint sensors and run on Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS with Xiaomi’s own layer of MI 8 on the top.
Both the variants are expected to be provided with powerful batteries of 3700mAh and 4000mAh, respetively. This phone will be armed with 12MP rear camea with LED flash, PDAF alongwith 8MP or 5MP front facing camera.
Xiaomi is going to price this product very aggressively for the global markets including India which is one of the primary reasons of its success. It is not sure as of now when this phone will debut in India but shall hit the Indian shores very shortly after the launch as India is one of the important markets for Xiaomi.
