Xolo branded Nvidia Tegra Note Tablet with 7 inch display was launched in India at Rs. 17,999. The company claims that this NVIDIA Tegra 4-powered XOLO Play Tegra Note tablet is the world’s fastest 7-inch Android tablet. This tablet is now available at all leading retail outlets, large format retail stores and online commerce sites.
XOLO Play Tegra Note is based on NVIDIA’s complete tablet platform, which was revealed earlier this year. It sports a 7-inch HD IPS LCD (1280×800 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.8GHz Tegra 4 processor with a 72-core GeForce GPU and quad-core Cortex-A15 CPU, with a fifth battery-saver core. The tablet has 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expandable up to 64GB via microSD. This Wi-Fi enabled tablet runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2, and as per the company the 4.3 OTA(over-the-air) update is coming shortly.
The Xolo Play Tegra Note is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera with HDR , and a VGA front-facing camera. This tablet also incorporates NVIDIA PureAudio technology, which offers rich, deep audio, through front-facing stereo speakers with a bass-reflex port.
This tablet comes packed with 4100 mAh battery, which according to the company, can deliver up to 10 hours of HD video playback. For connectivity options, it has Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, WLAN, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro HDMI, and USB 2.0.
The Xolo Play Tegra also encompasses NVIDIA DirectStylus technology that offers an incredibly responsive stylus experience with finer point and broader stroke control. The other feature of this tablet is Nvidia TegraZone that provides easy access to Tegra-optimized games. The tablet also supports a variety of Bluetooth game controllers for console-class gaming.
