It appears that Indian handsets maker Xolo is on launching spree. Hardly a day pass, when we come across new smartphone either listed on the company’s website or official announcement emerging from the company’s office. Today, morning, the company announced the official launch of its Q1100 for Rs. 14,999, and also listed its budget smartphone Q1010 on its website, for Rs. 12,998.
The Xolo Q1010 sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720×1280 pixels and comes with OGS (One Glass Solution). The Xolo Q1010 is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone which runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. This is is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with Mali 400 for graphics, coupled with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD. It is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and BSI sensor, and 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
For connectivity options, the Xolo Q1010 includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. This device is packed with a 2250mAh battery. Like Q1100, this phablet is also available in black color only.
The Xolo Q1010 is expected to be officially announced most probably in this week only as it has become a practice with Xolo and many other domestic vendors to list their upcoming devices first on the websites to create a so-called buzz. How far this methodology is working, there are no specific inputs.
