Xolo, the Indian preimum handsets maker has expanded its portfolio Q-series smartphones and officailly launched today i.e. 10th February, the Q1100, with a price tag of Rs. 14,999. Earlier, this smartphone was listed on the company’s website.
The Xolo Q1100 smartphone has DUAL-SIM (GSM-GSM) capability, and sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with a 720×1280 pixel resolution,294ppi. It is driven by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, clocked at 1.4GHz with an Adreno 305 GPU, coupled with1GB of RAM, and 8 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The Xolo Q1100 is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and BSI 2 sensor, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It is powered by 2000mAh battery, which according to the company has a stand by time of upto 600 hours on 2G and upto 450 hours on 3G. The talk time is 24 hours on 2G and 12.5 hours on 3G.
The Xolo Q1100 runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.3 OS .For connectivity, the Xolo Q1100 supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, AGPS, EDGE, GPRS and 3G connectivity. The Xolo Q1100 is available in Black colour only.
Probably, the Xolo Q1100 has been announced to give some competition to the Moto G announced yesterday. It has some plus points like bigger display size comapred to Moto G, which has 4.5 inch dispaly and more camera capability. Moto G has 5 MP rear shooter and Xolo Q1100 has 8MP camera. But the main difference is in OS. Moto G runs on stock Android KitKat 4.4 version comapred to Jelly Bean 4.3 OS version of the Xolo Q1100. Plus the Moto G is priced at Rs. 12,499 for 8GB version and Rs. 13,999 for 16GB version. Moto G internal storage is not expandable unlike the Xolo Q1100.
