We have just received communication from the company as well as tweet from Rahul Sharma of YU that the launch of YU Yutopia smartphone has been postponed to 17th December. Earlier, it was scheduled to happen on 7th December as written by us in our blog of few hours ago. The company has not given any reason for the postponement.
Just to remind our readers, there are lot of speculations about the probable hardware capabilites of upcoming YU Yutopia. As per various sources and speculations, the Yutopia is expected to flaunt a 5.2 inch full-HD display. Under the hood, you can expect 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor paired definitely with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory expandable to 128GB with a microSD card support.
The YU Yutopia will also support Dual-SIM and will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based CyanogenMod 12 OS.
This phone will not disappoint in optics front also and is rumored to be equipped with a 21 MP rear camera with LED flash and for selfie loving audience, the front camera could be of an 8MP. This phone will definitely support all Indian 4G LTE bands and will feature standard connectivity fetures of Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1 etc.
This will be the first premium smartphone from the stable of YU. Earlier, they have launched smartphones below Rs. 10,000 and Yutopia is expected to be in the range of Rs 20,000.
