At the ongoing CES 2016 in Las Vegas, ZTE of China has announced two budget smartphones. These two phones are ZTE Avid Plus and ZTE Grand X 3.
The Avid Plus is an updated version of the ZTE Avid that was released with T-Mobile in 2013. The updated Avid Plus is an entry-level Android phone that will be available at T-Mobile on January 20 and coming soon to MetroPCS. It is priced $114.99 in US.
ZTE Avid Plus features a rich 5-inch LCD screen with a DragonTrail scratch resistant glass which protects the screen. It runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system and is driven by a 1.1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processora. It is equipped with 5MP rear-camera and 2MP front-camera with features like altering color effects and 720p video recording. It has built in battery saver, additional security features, and enhanced WiFi and Bluetooth controls.
ZTE Grand X 3- The Grand X 3 will be available soon with Cricket Wireless in US. Priced at $129.99 MSRP, Grand X 3 sports a 5.5” HD display. The phone is powered by Qualcomm 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS. It has a Dolby Audio which can help experience premium sound when streaming music by quickly connecting to 4G LTE speeds, wherever available. Grand X 3 has a 3080 mAh battery which gives fast charging capability and a 16 GB of internal user memory, expandable to 64 GB via microSD card.
