The Chinese stalwart, ZTE has officially launched its Grand S II smartphone in India, which will be available exclusively on Amazon.in from today at Rs. 13,999. This smartphone was announced in India last month.
The ZTE Grand S II is a single SIM device and sports a 5.5-inch full-HD display, and is powered by a quad-core 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (MSM8674) processor, paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded upto 32GB via microSD card. Surprisingly, this smartphone runs on old version of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean supported by UI Mi Favor, which ZTE claims will provide users flawless multitasking capabilities.
The ZTE Grand S II is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash, and a 5-megapixel camera. It is fuelled by a 2500mAh battery. It has dimensions of 157x77x7.9mm and its wight is 120 grams.

ZTE has also announced ‘Hub and Spoke’ model for providing after sales service. These service centers are now open in major cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Pune, Kolkata and Delhi. ZTE has approximately 300 service centers across the country and plans to expand to 600 outlets along with the growth of the smartphone business in India. Additionally, ZTE has tied up with five regional distributors with geographical focus for market expansion.
