One of the leading Chinese brands OPPO has expanded its portfolio of R7 series and launched two smartphones in India – R7 Plus and R7 Lite. OPPO R7 Plus is priced at INR 29, 990 and R7 Lite at INR 17, 990. OPPO R7 Plus will be available from 25th September and R7 Lite from 10th September at OPPO stores and retail outlets across India.
Both the devices boast metal uni-body and according to the company, these phones have 91% of metal.The metal of these phones is of very fine aviation quality which give it elegant looks.
The OPPO R7 Plus and R7 Lite run on Color OS 2.1 based on Android Lollipop 5.1 OS. The Color OS 2.1 is easy to navigate and icons are neat and gives pleasing look. Both the devices support 4G LTE networks.
OPPO R7 Plus sports a 6-inch full HD Super AMOLED display (1920×1080 pixels) with 367 ppi. The device offers 2.5D Arc-Edge screen which has slightly rounded glass edges and makes sliding finger much more natural than compared with using a flat panel.This is Dual-SIM device and is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8939 1.5GHz Octa-Core 64-bit processor with 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM, which can be extended upto 128GB via microSD card.
The OPPO R7 Plus is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera based on Sony IMX278 sensor with RGBW technology, laser focused technology. It also house an 8-megapixel Golden Angle front camera with 80 degree angle. The lens of the camera are of Schneider-Kreuznach of Germany.
OPPO smartphones are known for good imaging quality and this tradition has been continued in the new phones launched today. The R7 Plus incorporates Flash Shot Technology, standard Contrast Detection Autofocus (AF) and Laser Focus. Its laser autofocus system targets and focuses precisely on a subject in under 0.3 seconds. Moreover, the OPPO R7 Plus camera is backed by OPPO’s unique anti-shake optimization feature which enable the users to take multiple images in seconds before and after the pressing of the shutter and choose the clearest one clicked image.
This smartphone is fuelled by a massive 4100 mAh inbuilt lithium-polymer battery supported by OPPO’s VOOC rapid charging solution. With the VOOC Flash Charger, you can charge the phone quickly in five minutes for delivering two hours of talk time.
It has dimensions of 158×82.3×7.75mm, and its weight is 192 grams. Despite its huge size, it still fits easily in front pocket of your shirt or in your trouser.
As its name sugggests, the OPPO R7 Lite is lighter version of R7 Plus. The R7 Lite features a 5-inch AMOLED HD display (1280×720 pixels) with 294ppi. It also boast of 2.5D Curved Screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a Snapdragon 615 1.3GHz Octa-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage extendable to 128GB.
This phone also comes with 13MP rear and 8MP front shooter. It has same camera features which are available on R7 Plus. It is packed with 2320mAh battery.
