At an event in New Delhi, vivo today unveiled its X200 series in India, comprising the vivo X200 Pro and vivo X200 flagship smartphones. The vivo X200 series boast of powerful photography features as it comes with upgraded vivo ZEISS Co-engineered Imaging System, integrating hardware and software advancements.

The vivo X200 Pro features India’s first 200MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera along with a 50MP ZEISS True Color Main Camera, and a 50MP Ultra Wide-Angle Camera. X200 comes with a 50MP VCS True Color Main Camera, 50MP ZEISS Telephoto Camera, and a 50MP Ultra Wide-Angle Camera. X200 Pro’s main camera has Sony LYT-818 Sensor, which features a 1/1.28-inch sensor size and is manufactured using a 22 nm process. Its exclusive 200MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera significantly boosts long-range shooting abilities, delivering exceptional improvement in capturing details even in low-light conditions.

With its pioneering 200 MP resolution, X200 Pro boasts six industry-leading telephoto capabilities: Telephoto HyperZoom up to 100x, Telephoto Macro up to 20x zoom with various bokeh effects, Telephoto Nightscapes with utmost clarity, Telephoto Portrait with zero shutter lag, and Telephoto Sunset. Together, they allow users to capture distant subjects with incredible detail and clarity in any scenario along with the ZEISS Multifocal Portrait.

vivo X200 series introduces an upgraded Super Landscape Mode. This vivo-exclusive feature seamlessly integrates essential photography tools, allowing users to capture the beauty of nature such as stunning starry skies, moonlit scenes, and vibrant sunsets with automatic enhancements. The vivo X200 series also offers a range of focal lengths, elevating portrait photography to professional levels. The ZEISS Multifocal Portrait Feature supports an impressive lineup of focal lengths, including 23mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, 100mm, and now introduces an all-new 135mm focal length, enabling users to capture detailed close-ups with extreme clarity.

The X200 Pro offers 4K HDR Cinematic Portrait Video capabilities that enable users to shoot high-quality videos even in back-lit lighting scenarios. Both the phones come with 32MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The vivo X200 series is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400 flagship platform which is paired with vivo’s V3+ Imaging Chip. The X200 Pro variant comes with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB UFS 4.0 Storage whereas the X200 comes with 12GB / 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB / 512GB UFS 4.0 Storage. The vivov X200 Pro is packed with 6000mAh  Battery, while X200 offers a robust 5800 mAh Battery with 90W FlashCharge. The X200 Pro also comes with 30W Wireless FlashCharge.

Both X200 Pro and X200 feature an immersive quad-curved display, delivering a 2K resolution with a brightness level up to 4500 nits, paired with the new UltraMotion Dynamic Frame Rate, X200 Pro boasts clarity in bright light and fluid, lag-free visuals. The screen of X200 series extends ZEISS Natural Color from imaging effects to screen display calibration, certified as industry’s first ZEISS Master Color Display. The X200 Pro mitigates the industry-wide challenge of screen flickering by adopting a hardware-based 2160 Hz High-frequency PWM dimming that excels in display clarity, power efficiency, and lifespan. The X200 Pro boasts a 6.78-inch Armor Glass display, while the X200 offers a 6.67-inch Schott Alpha Glass display,

Both the X200 Pro and X200 come with an IP68 & IP69 rating, providing protection against water and dust. Both the phones offer various connectivity options of 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 7 802.11 be, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, NavIC, A-GPS, NavIC, OTG, and USB Type-C port. Both the phones run on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15.

X200 series comes with Google Gemini, an AI assistant. Users can chat with Gemini to supercharge their creativity and productivity, and get help learning in new ways, writing emails, planning events, and more. Additionally, vivo leverages the Gemini models to deliver more productivity tools, such as AI Note Assist and AI Transcript Assist.

X200 series also comes with Circle to Search with Google. Circle, highlight, scribble, or tap any image, video, or text to search without switching apps.

The X200 Series also come with vivo’s proprietary AI features such as AI Erase, AI Photo Enhance, and Shadow Removal. Additionally, the Album Search feature simplifies finding photos and videos, while the Album Memories feature allows users to revisit their photo albums in a dynamic and engaging way.

For enhanced security, the X200 series features vivo’s built-in security chip, which encrypts sensitive data like passwords and biometrics. The Secure Deletion feature ensures complete data erasure, protecting your privacy even if your phone is lost or stolen.

The vivo X200 Pro will be available in two colours, the Titanium Gray and the Cosmos Black. It is priced at INR 94,999 for the 16GB + 512GB variant.

The vivo X200 comes in Natural Green and Cosmos Black colors and is priced at INR 65,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant and INR 71,999 for the 16GB + 512GB variant.

Both models will go on sale starting December 19, 2024. Pre-booking starts from December 12 and during this phase, consumers can take advantage of various exclusive offers, including up to 10% instant cashback with select banking partners or up to 10% V-Upgrade Exchange bonus.
