While launching Diwali limited edition F1s selfie-focussed smartphone last wek, Oppo India had announced that they would be auctioning only one 18K Gold Embossed Oppo F1s, for contributing the proceeds to charity. Oppo India has announced today that the winning bid was for INR 5 lakh (also the upper limit for the auction) and the bidding price reached the upper limit within just 18 minutes.
This initiative by Oppo is an effort to make Diwali special and memorable for the children of Yuvraj Singh’s YouWeCan foundation as twice the proceeds from the auction will be donated to the foundation.
The18k gold embossed phone is an extension of the latest Selfie Expert F1s which was launched in August with a 16 MP front camera, beautification feature and very fast 0.22s second unlocking fingerprint reader. The F1s comes with 5.5-inch display, an Octa-core processor, backed with 3 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM, and 3075mAh whole day usage battery.
Commenting on this effort, Mr. Will Wang, Brand Director of OPPO Mobiles India, said, “Diwali is one of the most important festivals in the country and we hope everyone can be involved in it. The OPPO F1s Diwali customised limited edition will start selling from October 14th on Snapdeal and offline channels.
